Where is Community of Faith?
Community of Faith is one church in two different locations in the Houston area and one in Cancun, Mexico. Community of Faith celebrated the grand opening of its first permanent location in January of 2007 on Highway 290 near Fairfield. A second campus was started later that year in Cancun.
What should I expect?
The dress is casual and the atmosphere is relaxed on the weekends at Community of Faith. Come hang out with us and have some of our world-famous Starbucks coffee and kolaches! The messages are relevant to everyday life and will give you practical things to apply during the week. Your children will have a blast in our preschool and elementary areas,and your middle school and high school students will love connecting with their friends in our student center.
Who is the pastor of Community of Faith?
After serving on the mission field for nearly 10 years, Pastor Mark Shook and his wife, Laura, and their 3 children moved back to the Cypress area to start Community of Faith in the spring of 2003. Dr. Mark Shook is known internationally for his conferences on marriage and family dynamics. He holds degrees in Psychology, Religion and Christian Counseling. Mark is known for his ability to communicate the timeless messages of the Bible with both practical insight and humor. We invite you to come and be challenged by uplifting messages each week at Community of Faith.
